Regional Conference & Workshop Programs
The APCA is currently divided into 5 regions, the southeast, northeast, mid-west, south central and western region. Regional conferences are held in 4 of the 5 regions with a conference in the west being introduced in the fall of 2008. This provides associates with an additional avenue for exposure as we travel throughout the United States attracting colleges, universities and military installations. In additional to regional conferences, the APCA also offers Leadership Workshops & Advisor Institutes where students & advisors come for leadership training & education on the markets most current trends. What better way to increase your exposure than to advertise in these programs whether you attend or not!

Acceptable Software & File Formats:

  • All files should be converted to CMYK before sending for inclusion in publications
  • If sending files for ads that are noted as being black & white, please convert to grayscale
  • Any software or file formats not included in the above are not acceptable, including Corel Draw, Microsoft Word documents or Microsoft Publisher
  • If sending a PDF file, please make sure that it is camera ready with high resolution images (300 dpi). Anything less would not give the quality of print that your ad deserves.

What do all these abreviations mean?

  • PDF file (format): portable document format; available through Adobe Acrobat
  • DPI: dots per inch in a graphic or photo file
  • Font: typeface or typestyle
  • High resolution: graphic files or photographs for artwork that are 300-dpi or higher, resulting in a clear, crisp image
  • Low resolution: graphic files or photographs for artwork that are 72 dip or anything under 300-dpi, resulting in a grainy, unclear image.
  • CMYK: cyan, magenta, yellow, black; printing terms for a four color process

High Resolution Image: GOOD!
Low Resolution Image: BAD!
