CPAC & CSP & ACSP Certifications in New York City:
This one is new Advanced Certified Student Programmer (ACSP) ACSP is the next step in your leadership development! You must be Junior standing or above and involved in student activities for one or more years to participate in this unique leadership experience. You will be part of a learning community during the workshop and
share your lessons with other students who are at the same level in their leadership journey. Students participating in this specialized
curriculum will participate in discussions, seminars, and activities to heighten their leadership skills. Networking opportunities with
speakers and student colleagues will be an integral part of the experience. Topics covered will range from dealing with burnout to
choosing a career in student affairs. There will also be a resume' workshop, so be sure to bring your resume'. Students completing the
ACSP program will receive an APCA Logo t-shirt, a certificate of completion and a special gift. Participation in the ACSP program has limited availability, so register today!
Certified Programming Advisor Curriculum (CPAC) The APCA Advisors Institute in New York City will offer our basic advisors certification program, CPAC (Certified Programming Advisor Curriculum). This program will feature seminars on basic professional development at no additional charge. Certificates of
completion, logo shirts and insignias pins will be awarded to CPAC participants.

Formal assessments of the learning outcomes of the participants are subjective and no written exams are required nor
are grades assigned. The dialogue method of instruction is used which presupposes the active and interactive
participation of each attendee. Each participant, therefore, is expected to contribute to the vitality of the training
. Certificates of Completion for the Campus Activities Programmer Curriculum are awarded to those who have successfully met the course attendance requirements.
The Certified Student Programmer Curriculum (CSP)
(CSP) is a comprehensive introductory course in student programming. APCA has long viewed the comprehensive development of student leaders as a vital component of asuccessful student activities program at all colleges
regardless of institution size and budget. The Certified Student Programmer Curriculum is a program to ensure that
students receive the basic training that is necessary for a successful student activities programming board effort.
Students participating in this curriculum will receive training in programming board leadership, campus activities
programming, event production, holistic programming and community building, diversity programming opportunities, personal development and more. Students can also pursue a customized experience of elective sessions as applicable
to their campus environment (ie. community college, 4 year university, etc. programming ideas.)
Students completing the training will receive an APCA logo Tshirt, a lapel pin denoting their status as a CSP graduate and a certificate of recognition for their achievement.
The CSP training is included in the student delegate fees.
