New APCA Student Life Certification Programs and Training!
These programs are courses of intensified advisor symposia on basic and advanced student life issues. Symposia relating to student services professional development (i.e. career advancement, personal wellness and student organizational models) are provided with each curriculum. The APCA Student Life Certification programs require that participants have a degree from an accredited institution and be employed in the field of student services, whether it is in activities, residence life, or recreation.

CPAC curriculums are powerful tools for building your professional resume and several are recognized by APCA for purposes of professional development training and National Committee appointment eligibility. Certificates of Completion, logo shirts, and APCA Lapel Insignias will be awarded for all participants.

All certification program fees are included in your delegate fees. Only one curriculum program may be completed during this event. Certificates of Completion and logo shirts will be awarded for all participants.

Completion of this curriculum is necessary to advance to participation in the Certified Campus Activities Instructor Curriculum.

New! APCA Student Activities Reconsidered Curriculum This cutting edge curriculum will address the emerging challenges faced by advisors in implementing a holistic campus activities program with an aim of enhancing student learning in their campus environments. The curriculum focuses heavily on the practical application of the ACPA/NASPA position statements Learning Reconsidered and Learning Reconsidered 2, as well as other research and theory. Some elements that will be discussed are practical applications of holistic learning environment theory, new assessment approaches and learning how to incorporate reflective components into your student activities programs. The value of achieving desired student outcomes such as civic engagement, knowledge acquisition and integration, humanitarianism and cognitive development through your student activities programs will also be explored. A frank discussion of how accreditation is moving in this direction with your supervising administrator will show you the value of pursuing this curriculum.

New! University / 4 Year Traditional Programming Curriculum These are sessions aimed specifically at advisors working in the 4 year and traditional University community. Some of the training offered will address cross training for managing multiple communities (ie.
