The APCA Student Life Advisor Institute and Student leadership Workshop is a wonderful training opportunity for both
advisors and students working in campus activities and related student life fields. The training is two full days, with free
time in the evening for your delegation to experience the times square area. The conference facility will be the beautiful
Marriott Marquis in New York City's Times Square, and there will be many wonderful opportunities to build student board unity, advance your professional horizons and engage with peers in the industry.
Professional Development For Advisors!
The APCA Advisors Institute in New York City will offer our basic advisors certification program, CPAC (Certified
Programming Advisor Curriculum). This program will feature seminars on basic professional development at no additional charge. Certificates of completion, logo shirts and insignias pins will be awarded to CPAC participants.
Student Leadership Training for Students!
Motivate, inspire and educate your board on how to lead their organization into the next academic year! APCA leadership
seminars are presented by professional speakers with great insights for your students. Students will be taught how to form their teams, perform organizational tasks and resolve conflicts by trained professionals.

Our curriculum and the entire experience of the event relates directly to learning outcomes such as cognitive complexity and development, humanitarianism, knowledge

student development and how to create programs which lead to the transformation of students on your campus. APCA teaches intentional and purposeful programming

 Entertainment Production Training and Sample Showcase!
This entertaining event brings some of the best campus activities training available to you, right in the heart of broadway! Campus programmers can see samples of various genres of entertainment in a training environment
. During this unique session, before and after each artist performs, a panel of student activities advisors share their experiences and advice on hosting their particular genres in a campus situation. Topics include
promotion, production, liability and assessment of the events for both student and professional programmers.
APCA / Broadway Cares Luncheon Keynote!
APCA will host a Keynote Luncheon at famous Sardi's Restaurant in New York City. Just one block from the conference facility, this event will host representatives from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and
emphasize how the campus community can help to raise awareness and support for AIDS research. The APCA / Broadway Cares autographed broadway poster program to enhance your campus activities and raise
funds for AIDS support will be presented. An additional fee to cover the meal is charged for this event and can be paid onsite or added to your registration.

Looking to make new contacts for your programming career? During the conference, the APCA exhibit hall will be open to allow the delegates access to the different
agencies and speakers appearing at the event. You can book your favorite new speakers, experience the newest novelties and services, network with your peers and

Certificates Included In Fees!
Certificates for conference participation will be awarded on the final day of the workshop to all conference delegates who qualify through their attendance at the various ed sessions and Delegate/Sponsor Mixers.
