APCA Regional Coordinator

APCA State Coordinator

 


Regional Coordinator

Reports to: APCA Vice President of Operations, Heather Lambert

Term of Office: One year

Number of Positions: 1

APPLY FOR THIS POSITION

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience with APCA
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Ability to actively promote APCA to the Student Life community
  • Strong knowledge of APCA Cooperative Buying process and campus event planning
  • Must provide letter of support from the institution granting approval for time off and financial support for travel to APCA Regional and National Conferences

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison between APCA National Office and State Coordinators
  • Chair Advisory Council meeting at Regional Conference (typically the Thursday evening before conference begins)
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with State Coordinators to recruit and engage other schools in the region
  • Assist with conference planning and logistics as needed
  • Communicate with other RAC’s to maintain national cohesion
  • Submit proposals for conference Ed Sessions
  • Contribute articles or other information for Campus Life Trends magazine and other APCA publications
  • MUST be able to attend Fall Regional and National conference
  • Must provide letter of financial support and approval for time off from institution

State Coordinator

Reports to:  Your Regional Area Coordinator and / or APCA Vice President of Operations, Heather Lambert

Term of Office: One year

APPLY FOR THIS POSITION

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year experience with APCA
  • Associate degree or higher
  • History of involvement with other state or national organizations that promote student life
  • Knowledge of APCA Cooperative Buying process and experience with campus event planning
  • Must provide letter of support from the institution granting approval for time off and financial support for travel to APCA Regional and National Conferences

General Responsibilities

  • Represent your state at Advisory Council meetings held at Regional Conference (typically the Thursday evening before conference begins)
  • Help communicate information about APCA’s conferences, workshops, and programs to colleges and universities throughout your state
  • Engage your peers by assisting APCA with recruitment of new schools, as well as conference and project volunteers from existing members
  • Assist with conference planning and logistics as needed
  • Submit proposals for conference Ed Sessions
  • Contribute articles or other information for Campus Life Trends (CLT) magazine and other APCA publications
  • Must be able to attend Fall Regional Conference
  • Must provide letter of financial support and approval for time off from institution
